Today is a rest day. So there is no true "workout" today. But, rest day doesn't mean sitting on the couch all day watching Netflix (sorry!).
Active recovery is using movement to work out any soreness or muscle fatigue you have from training.
Today is all about moving. The jog in today's interval is truly a jog. Not a run. Not a sprint. A jog. That means if you were doing this with a workout buddy, you'd be able to hold a conversation during each jog interval. Again, we aren't training today, we're recovering.
Be mindful of your breathing, take in the fresh air, let yourself recover through motion. If you have worked out Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with the intended stimulus, then you NEED to recover so that we can attack the next few days of training at full effort.
If you weren't able to get in one of the workouts from Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, you can also use today as a makeup day since you've already had a rest day this week.
